The database can be in SQL Server, MySQL, Linux, etc. coding can be done by one developer or more than one developer depending on the size of the company.

There can be a developer that focuses on Front-end coding and another developer that focuses on Back-end coding. In some cases, Full Stack developer who is knowledgeable in both Front-end and Back-end coding will take care of both. Coding can consist of several milestones. Larger organization and businesses can have hundreds of developers to develop a website and can follow standard methods like Agile Methodology.

A good web development company should take more time in Testing phase than any other phase of the development. This is where the coding done by the designer is fully tested. This can be done by one person or a group of people depending on the size of the company. Big companies have a separate QA department to test the coding. As they test the code, they create tickets to the designers to fix the bugs. This process should be streamlined so that every ticket is looked at by one or more designers.

This is the last phase of website development. This is where the code and design get approved by the client after several revisions and corrections. Once the client is 100% satisfied with the website, now, the website is ready to be deployed. Web Designers will move the code to the client’s Web Hosting account and will get sign off from the client. Now, the site is alive and is open to the world to see.
